THE 2023 DIVERSITY IMMIGRANT VISA PROGRAM- (Green Card through the DV Lottery)

The diversity visa lottery has to be a totally random process of selection. Bias, prejudice, racism, class, wealth, political views, status, and other unfavorable conditions have to be weeded out of the selection processes. The DV lottery does not select people. The lottery is designed to select applications from all of the applications that are processed into its system. There is no first come, first served. All candidates who have filed applications must undergo pre-screening through their applications for entry in the lottery. Of course, all applications must be filed electronically to be accepted in the process.

Millions of applications have to be processed through similar procedures. As these applications are processed electronically, they would be assigned codes and processing numbers for accessibility through computers. Paperwork would be bulky and cumbersome in the processing and selection of applications for the lottery. Each application is assigned a code and number for quick access and location. That might be the reason and purpose for the requirement for filing and processing applications electronically.

If the applications have passed the pre-screening tests, then the candidates are issued final notifications by being assigned confirmations that their applications have passed must for participation in the diversity lottery. If applications have been eliminated or have failed the process, the filing of another application will not be accepted (the applications would be mooted). By the time of the notifications, the pre-application process would be closed. Only one application per family is accepted. Similarly, names cannot be added to different applications. The applications would be eliminated from the lottery. All regulations and rules must be followed accordingly for acceptance into the diversity lottery.

Preparation is absolutely necessary for participation in the lottery. Passports must be current. Birth certificates and other viable documents must be available. Certain levels of education are acceptable for filing applications. Any person with higher education, including diplomas and unique skills, can be excluded from participation. Yes, applicants can be deemed or considered overqualified. They might be required to file applications for other types of visas in the system through employment with companies and corporations that assist potential foreign workers and employees in search of employment in foreign countries.

As applications are registered in the system and these applications have passed the scheduled processes to undergo participation in the lottery, the drawing is controlled electronically through the codes that are assigned to each application. Remember, this process is a lottery. As all selections are expected to be processed randomly, an assigned computer is assigned the process and task of selection.

The hands-off process eliminates manipulation, biases, and prejudices in selections. There is no winning strategy for entry in the DVD lottery. Selection is based on the luck of the draw. The lottery is a "wait and see" process.

The DV lottery selection is a "random selection" among "qualified candidates."

Once selected and your number is "current," you get a notification of "potential visa availability," and at that stage you have to fill out different paperwork and finally have an interview with a US embassy or consular officer.

You will never be 100% sure of getting a visa until you actually have it stamped on your passport. It is a complex but rewarding process.

The winners of the Diversity Visa lottery are chosen at random by a computer program, with a certain number of visas allocated to each region of the world and no one country receiving more than 7% of the Diversity Visas available in any given year.

Not selected.

It’ll be in the DOS files somewhere until the days of the DV pick are over by the end of September. If you're concerned that this will affect any visa application, the answer is no, because technically you're not actually applying for an immigration visa, all you’ve done is register for the opportunity to win the right to apply for an immigration visa, which is different.

The DV lottery is a totally random process carried out by an audited computer system at USCIS.

I am going to use all my energies to develop myself, to expand my heart out to others, I am going to have kind thoughts towards others, I am not going to get angry or think badly about others. I am going to benefit others as much as I can."

I felt what it was like to be a homeless man. People would just past by me and look at me in disgrace. Only one lady was kind enough to give me some food. It was an experience I'll never forget. So many times we forget how blessed we are. We should not take that for granted. And if we can help someone in need, we should. That's why after I was done, I walked around and gave food and $100 to every homeless person I saw. They cried and were so grateful. Be the change you wish to see in the world."

Bhutan the happiest country in Asia and the eighth-happiest in the world: The place I love the most..... The place where I was born and grew up from dreaming.

Many of you might think it's unreal. Does it look like painted Art ???? but the fact is my Village itself resemble Paradise, It is Living Heaven. The place I love most in the world. The place where I was born and grew up from dreaming. My village so called PAM, East:Bhutan. rising from the high hillside.

Bhutan, is a landlocked country in South Asia at the eastern end of the Himalayas. It is bordered to the north by China and to the south, east and west by India. To the west, it is separated from Nepal by the Indian state of Sikkim, while farther south it is separated from Bangladesh by the Indian states of Assam and West Bengal. Bhutan's capital and largest city is Thimphu. Bhutan existed as a patchwork of minor warring fiefs until the early 17th century. At that time the GREAT  buddhist master and military leader Ngawang Namgyal, the first Zhabdrung Rinpoche, who was fleeing religious persecution in Tibet, unified the area and cultivated a distinct Bhutanese identity. In the early 20th century, Bhutan came into contact with the British Empire and retained strong bilateral relations with India upon its independence.

In 2006, based on a global survey, Business Week rated Bhutan the happiest country in Asia and the eighth-happiest in the world. Bhutan's landscape ranges from subtropical plains in the south to the sub-alpine Himalayan heights in the north, where some peaks exceed 7,000 meters (23,000 ft). Its total area was reported as approximately 46,500 km2 (18,000 sq mi) in 1997 and 38,394 km2 (14,824 sq mi) in 2002.Bhutan's state religion is Vajrayana Buddhism and the population, as of 2015 estimated as 770 thousand people, is predominantly Buddhist. Hinduism is the second-largest religion.

My village shaded with trees and leaves like a piggy bank filled with memories. You'll see why a person would want to live there forever. Dawn, morning, mid-day, night, all the same, except for the changes in the air. The air changes the color of things there. And life whirs by as quiet as a murmur...the pure murmuring of life.

Les Blank

Blank's films, while never great commercial successes and seldom even feature length, were largely respected by his peers. Blank received lifetime achievement awards from the American Film Institute and the International Documentary Association, and in 2007 he became only the third filmmaker to take home the Edward MacDowell Medal, given annually to one who's made an outstanding contribution to the arts. His films documented real people, often the eccentric, examining their quirky traditions, music, and food. His subjects have included a zydeco accordionist, garlic zealots, various fiddlers, Dizzy Gillespie, and perhaps most famously, fellow director Werner Herzog. Blank's 1982 Burden of Dreams was something of a Hearts of Darkness for Herzog's Fitzcarraldo, documenting that film's torturous, troubled production and insane attempts to haul a massive steamship over a hill. Blank also notably documented the time Herzog lost a bet and ate a shoe.

I believe to succeed, you need to find something to hold on to, something to motivate you, something to inspire you.

I believe to succeed, you need to find something to hold on to, something to motivate you, something to inspire you. Akira Kurosawa, (March 23, 1910 – September 6, 1998)was a Japanese filmmaker, Who inspired me. I really admire his filmArts. Regarded as one of the most important and influential filmmakers in the history of cinema, Kurosawa directed 30 films in a career spanning 57 years.

Kurosawa entered the Japanese filmindustry in 1936, following a brief stint as a painter. After years of working on numerous films as an assistant directorand scriptwriter, he made his debut as a director in 1943, during World War II, with the popular action film Sanshiro Sugata (a.k.a. Judo Saga). After the war, the critically acclaimed Drunken Angel(1948), in which Kurosawa cast then-unknown actor Toshiro Mifune in a starring role, cemented the director's reputation as one of the most important young filmmakers in Japan. The two men would go on to collaborate on another 15 films. His wife Yōko Yaguchiwas also an actress in one of his films.

Rashomon, which premiered in Tokyo in August 1950, and which also starred Mifune, became, on September 10, 1951, the surprise winner of the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival and was subsequently released in Europe and North America. The commercial and critical success of this film opened up Western film markets for the first time to the products of the Japanese film industry, which in turn led to international recognition for other Japanese filmmakers. Throughout the 1950s and early 1960s, Kurosawa directed approximately a film a year, including a number of highly regarded films such as Ikiru (1952), Seven Samurai (1954) and Yojimbo (1961). After the mid-1960s, he became much less prolific, but his later work—including his final two epics, Kagemusha (1980) and Ran (1985)—continued to win awards, including the Palme d'Or for Kagemusha, though more often abroad than in Japan.

In 1990, he accepted the Academy Award for Lifetime Achievement. Posthumously, he was named "Asian of the Century" in the "Arts, Literature, and Culture" category by AsianWeekmagazine and CNN, cited as "one of the 5 people who contributed most to the betterment of Asia in the past 100 years."

GORGEOUS HOLY LAKE IN BHUTAN-TSHOKAR.

GORGEOUS HOLY LAKE IN BHUTAN-TSHOKAR located above SANGYE DZONG.

Singye Dzong is one of the sacred places visited by Guru Rinpoche in the history of Bhutan. Thousands of pilgrims make a visit every year. It is also located within the Bumdeling Wildlife Sanctuary close to the Tibetan border. It is three day journey from the road head in Lhuentse. The closest communities to Singye Dzong are Khomagang and Denchung villages. Currently, the area has mediation center that accommodates 12 monks in a three year retreat, two main monasteries are Gawa Dzong and Singye Dzong.

Route:

Wangla Mountain is also a sacred place where Guru Chana Dorji meditated. The surrounding around the lhakhang is very clean with beautiful flowers favorable in high altitude. The one can experience fresh air to breathe and calm place to rest. At present Singye dzong has Drupdey headed by lam and 7 monks meditating. The main relic of singye dzong is Phurpa Terma.

Singye Dzong - The mystical Lion Fortress

A top a ridge overlooking Kurichhu river is a fortress called Lhuendrup Rinchentse Dzong – The Fortress of the Precious Peak of Spontaneous Fulfillment. According to National Library of Bhutan, the Dzong was initially constructed by Yongzin Ngagi Wangchuck in 1554, the youngest son of great Drukpa Lama Ngawang Choegyal as a meditation center. The present dzong structure, according to Legshey Phendhey Wangchuk, was constructed in 1665 during the time of Trongsa Penlop Chogyel Minjur Tenpa after which a Rabdey was instituted by 4th Desi Gyalsey Tenzin Rabgay.

According to another account, Ngagi Wangchuk first meditated at Timula. Later, when he went to look for a winter seat, he arrived at the present site of Lhuentse Dzong. The local deity appeared before him in the form of a white, bleating goat which was taken as an auspicious sign. He then built a temple and named as LeyLey Dzong (the fortress of the Goat) after the sound of the goat’s bleat. Another story says that a stone below the Dzong is in the shape of goat; and it is said that this stone bleated, alluding to the Dzong’s name. Another account states that below the Minjey village is a rock shaped like a frog that bleated like goat. The people considered this an unfavorable sign and shifted the site to the present site.

Later, Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel followed the routes of his great ancestor Yongzin Ngagi Wangchuk and visited Kurtoe Lhuentse Phodrang. During his visit, he planned to build a new Dzong but it could not be materialized due to presence of several local Kings who were not in good terms amongst themselves. Therefore, he prayed that a Dzong be built at Kurtoe Lhuentse Phodrang bringing whole of Kuri Dozhi under the control of central government in the future.

In 1654, the joint force of Gawa (King of Phagidung) and Dharma (King of Kidling) attacked Timula Dzongpoen Lhadhar for no reason. During that time, a civil war between Choetse Penlop Choegyal Minjur Tenpa and Bumthang Choekhor Dhepa had just ended and the forces of Choetse Penlop and Druk Desi were celebrating their victory. The relatives of Dzongpoen Lhadhar were aware of the presence of combined troops of Druk Desi and Choetse Penlop at Bumthang and approached Choetse Penlop for assistance. Choetse Penlop who was then well aware of Zhabdrung’s prophecy to bring Kurtoe region under central government consented to their request. Whole troops of Druk Desi and Choetse Penlop marched towards Kurtoe and captured two kings bringing Kurtoe under control of central government.

Pilgrim Centers:

There are numerous pilgrim centers in Lhuentse. And almost all are associated with Guru Rinpoche and Tertons. Singye Dzong, Rinchen Bumpa, Phuningla, Ney Khenpajong, and Sangwai Dadru are the sacred places while Menkhar, Karphu, Lukchu, Kuenzangling, Goshogpang, Timula, Khochung lhakhang and Dungkar Choejee Naktsang are some of the oldest lhakhangs constructed by Buddhist luminaries like Guru Chowang, Ratna Lingpa, Pema Lingpa, Khedrup Kuenga Wangpo and Yongzin Ngagi Wangchuk. Dungkar Khetangbi Naktsang, where Jigme Namgyel was born, stands in original grandeur. The 149 ft Guru statue, the would-be the tallest one in the world, is being constructed at Takila under Menbi Gewog.

All pilgrims are advised to start early morning from Khoma on day 1 so as to reach Tsikhang before dark. To see the details of the route please visit Singye Dzong Route Map. In general the route is safe but all are warned to be careful especially at points where there are steep cliffs and a small wrong move would prove to be fatal sometimes. Thangkarmo is located in the wilderness with no villages nearby except for a small guesthouse. There is also a guest house at Tsikhang. Yet you will experience the natural music of Khomachhu as the guesthouse is just at the right bank of the stream. To avoid accommodation problems all groups are advised to carry your own tent especially during the peak season.

 Climate:

As the place is located at an altitude of 4482 meters above sea level, it is comparatively colder than other places. The altitude of Tshokar, Tshona and Terdag Lhatshog are even higher and has harsh climatic conditions.

One is advised to carry warm clothes and a very good sleeping bag to Singye Dzong. The routes are mostly wet and therefore all are advised to carry a good trekking boot and a pair of comfortable walking shoes. Use of shoe gaiters is highly recommended. If you are thinking of wearing a rain-boot and you are not used to wearing one, you will have to be prepared of the pain and the blisters it will cause.

Offering our heartfelt Tashi Delek and prayers on this auspicious Coronation Day.

Offering our heartfelt Tashi Delek and prayers on this auspicious Coronation Day.

1st of November is celebrated in BHUTAN as CORONATION DAY. On this day in 2008, the formal Coronation Ceremony of His Majesty The King as the 5th DRUK GYALPO OF BHUTAN was held, Year that marked 100 years of monarchy in BHUTAN.

His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck is the eldest son of the 4th Dragon King Jigme Singye Wangchuck, and Queen Ashi Tshering Yangdon.

After completing his higher secondary studies at Yangchenphug High School, Khesar studied abroad at Phillips Academy Andover then transferred to Cushing Academy, Where he finished high school. He then attended Wheaton College before graduating from Magdalen College, University of Oxford, where he completed the Foreign Service Programme and International Relations.

The King's first landmark project after his formal coronation was launching the National Cadastral Resurvey in March 2009, aimed at resolving long-standing issues of excess land that affect every Bhutanese household.

One of the most important and ongoing works of the King involves Kidu, a tradition based on the rule of a Dharma King whose sacred duty is to care for his people.

The King initiated military-style training for volunteers known as the DeSuung Training Programme in 2011, on the request of the youth.

The King signed a new treaty of friendship with India in February 2007, replacing the treaty of 1949.[42] Many government initiatives were undertaken by the new King with a view to strengthen the system in preparation for the democratic changes in 2008. The Constitution of Bhutan was adopted on 18 July 2008 by the first elected parliament.

Code from His Majesty The King, Coronation Address, November 2008-

"Destiny has put me here. It is with immense gratitude and humility that at this young age, I assume the sacred duty to serve a special people and country.
Throughout my reign I will never rule you as a King. I will protect you as a parent, care for you as a brother and serve you as a son. I shall give you everything and keep nothing; I shall live such a life as a good human being that you may find it worthy to serve as an example for your children; I have no personal goals other than to fulfill your hopes and aspirations. I shall always serve you, day and night, in the spirit of kindness, justice and equality.
As the king of a Buddhist nation, my duty is not only to ensure your happiness today but to create the fertile ground from which you may gain the fruits of spiritual pursuit and attain good Karma.

This is how I shall serve you as King."
